Welcome to the Garden of Faith! A place where testimonies and scriptures are welcomed and shared to encourage believers to grow in their faith of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The name inspired by a friend of mine who once used an analogy to explain how faith grows.  A person's growth in faith can be related to God and a garden where seeds are sown, watered, cultivated and plants are grown. "Plant your faith in Christ in just the same way you may plant in a garden!" my friend told me. I realized that when we plant our Faith in Christ, only then can we begin to grow. Why? Because we are saying to the Lord that, "I trust you! We are saying, "Have your way in my life, Lord Jesus". FAITH! Is needed to pursue that meaningful relationship you desire to have with God. God will certainly sow, water and cultivate our faith if we allow Him to. Even now I'm reminded of Hebrews 11:6 which says, "But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarded of them that diligently seek Him".

As I begin this blog. I encourage you to consider your own journey in life and the path that you are on now. Some of you may be starting out in your relationship with Christ. Others may be mid way on this path to discovering who God is. And then there are those who have walked this path for along while. One thing is sure, no matter where we find ourselves on this journey we all need to replenish and strengthen our faith in Christ, to experience the fullness of who He is.

And so as we venture out into 2014, lets not lose sight of our personal journey and calling, as well as the level of faith God calls us to have to  fervently and diligently pursue it. In moments of discouragement, hurt or complacency consider yet again the brevity of life on earth. Remember our time is limited. Death does not discriminate... we all have an an appointed time to die. We are living on borrowed time my friends. The hour glass is turned down.
Our life WILL soon come to an end.

So pursue God. Pursue His holiness. Get out there and begin to proclaim the gospel message of salvation to all whom may hear at your work, universities, on the street corners...everywhere! Write your worship songs this year. Share your testimonies! Those encouraging words hidden in between the pages of your journal...share them! Take the gospel to your professors, your bosses, your fellow colleagues or classmates. Be bold! Take a walk through the Garden of Faith! All things are possible with God! What have you got to lose?
