What are you doing with the treasure ?

A few moments ago my heart was tremendously encouraged through a broadcast that God allowed me to see. I wanted to take this time to share a little about what  God taught me. The broadcast was filmed by a Christian ministry that featured the lives of prisoners in various states--some suicidal and others desperate and hopeless, convicted by their crimes seeking forgiveness. I watched fellow brothers and sisters enter the prisons to visit them and bring them the gospel. The one true Gospel that has the power to convert and transform their lives. It was in this moment I thought to myself, I have a priceless treasure, God has revealed His Son to me, He has opened my eyes to see the truth. What am I doing with this treasure ?  What will you choose to do with yours ? With the knowledge of Our Saviour, with the testimony He has given you ?

What are you doing with the gospel ? Have you forgotten it ? Or are you sharing it ? Are you surpressing it ? Or are you releasing it to the world ? God forbid, if we've become ashamed of it.

There are so many people in the world that feel invisible, like no one cares. To reach out to those who have given up or are on the verge of giving up hope by reaching out with the truth of God is a blessing and one of a lifetime. God has chosen you brothers and sisters in Christ to go into all the world with this precious priceless treasure and share it.

No amount of money can purchase the love of God.  As we have freely received, we must also freely give. What are you doing with the treasure ? If you aren't doing anything... then start today, start this minute. Pray for God to use you as He desires. Pray for boldness and courage to share the gospel.

Heb. 4:12
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Eph 2: 4-9
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
